Youth Action International is a youth run organization established to promote and implement programs aimed at making the world a better place for children and future generations. Youth Action International works with governments, organizations, and relevant parties to ensure the promotion of children's, women's, and general human rights as enshrined in major international conventions. Youth Action International also advocates against environmental degradation, and other environmental abuses that hinder children and future generations from enjoying the benefits of a beautiful world.

Kimmie Weeks has worked to alleviate poverty and human suffering in Africa and around the world since he was fourteen. At the young age of nine he came face to face with civil war, human suffering, and death. At age eleven, he committed himself to creating a better world for children. Ever since, his life has been a journey toward fulfilling this commitment. Over the years, Weeks has formed partnerships and led organizations that have provided education to thousands of students in West Africa, lobbied the disarmament of child soldiers, and provided health care and recreation supplies to children.
